Strength & Balance
As a Long Beach native Emily began dancing while in middle school and fell in with the art of movement. She went on to get her degree in dance science from California State University, Long Beach. It was during her time in the dance department at CSULB that she was introduced to pilates as a way to stay strong and balanced. Under the Instruction of Karen Clippinger Emily developed her love and appreciation for Pilates and all that it has to offer. After graduating in 2017 Emily decided to continue with Pilates as a way to stay connected to dance and movement. In the summer of 2018 she completed her Pilates certification training through Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI). Emily enjoys every second of being on the Form and Movement team and cannot wait for many years of Pilates teaching to come!
